Congrats on your new space! I'm glad the world now gets to enjoy your mad writing skills and unique insights & knowledge on so many subjects. Your mascot is really cute too!! :) Blog on!
Great site Johnny, thanks for the invite.
I hope you keep this up I love reading your posts.
JD,
Come on, you can do better than Stormy. He looks so pitiful. I didn't respond to your poll, didn't like any of the answers. How about sending 40,000 troops to DC to return the three branches of the Federal Government back to we the people.
To my friend BFOJ - thanks for visiting my site, even though you dissed my ("she")mascot... :-)
I fully agree with your idea of taking back the three branches of government and I realize your comment was made "tongue-in-cheek", but I think it's worthy of note that one of the wonderful things about our democracy is our success in the peaceful transfer of power via democratic elections. This would imply that no troops need be involved. Jes' sayin'...
What we DO need however, is for the electorate in this country to wake up to the fact that they are being fleeced by their elected politicians (on both sides of the aisle) and realize that these folks only have the power that we give them. Currently we are giving them almost absolute power by default because we are not holding them accountable for their actions when we go to the voting booth.
Tying this dicussion back to the topic of healthcare - all the polls show that the majority of the American people do NOT want this plan, yet the politicians see fit to try and shove it down our throats. I think great inroads were made during the townhall meetings and the tea parties to discourage this shameless injustice, but these things were discrete events in time. We need to build on that momentum and not allow the propaganda of the left (and right) to discourage us from making our voice heard loud and clear.
I subscribed to your blog-very good!
That was cool, I have not seen this part, so this may work!
I love what your blog looks like and the statement is awesome.
Ok, I loved the blog Johnny. I hope this works this time. 8)
Thanks C. I appreciate you helping me troubleshoot this pesky comments thing. I think we got it working now! :-)
